We welcome you to Delirium, where things are not what they seem and magic is just the beginning of your adventure.
This is a fairly new site, being only about 2 and a half months old. Our setting takes place about 400 years into the past - x391 being the current year - and dragons freely roam Earthland. While humans and dragons are currently in peace with each other, there is darkness brewing and that fragile line of truce between them might just break soon enough.

REQUIP MAGIC


Requip magic follows rules similar to that of the stellar magic system. The similarity is that like keys, weapons are ranked.

The ranks:

D-rank: D-ranked weapons have no physical or magical advantage except that they do what they are meant to do. A sword will cut, a hammer will smash, and armor will protect.

C-rank: C-rank weapons are more potent than D-ranked weapons. C-rank weapons can have an ability. Examples include Alzacks gun(prior to 7 year time skip) and the armor Erza wears everyday.

B-rank: Your weapon now has the right to hold an actual name. Examples include Lightning Empress Armor and Flame Empress armor.

A-rank: Your weapon is a real threat now.D-ranked weapons won't even scratch your armor and D-ranked armor is destroyed in a swing or two by your superpowered weapons. Examples include Purgatory armor and Armadura Fairy. No armor can be upgraded beyond this level.

S-rank: Generally classified as the ultimate armor in its category. No armor can be upgraded to this level and armor at this level can't be upgraded to SS rank. Examples include Adamintine Armor.

SS-rank: Legendary Armor that is almost impossible to acquire by regular means. No armor can reach this level via upgrade. Examples include Demon Blade Crimson Sakura(Yoto Benisakura) and Kagura's Archenemy.

Abilities: Its only natural that some weapons have some sort of natural ability to them. For example the flame empress armor resists fire magic. A set of armor (Weapons and Armor) May have one element or concept to them. Adamintine armor has extremely high defense whilst Yoto Benisakura can only be used for attacks. Extremely powerful effects will have side effects. NON-HOLDER MAGES CAN NOT HAVE WEAPONS WITH ABILITIES.

Armor/weapons can have at most, a single ability, regardless of rank. D-ranked armor may not have an ability. Note: The ability to use lightning attacks is a single ability. The ability to be resistant to lightning spells is a completely seperate ability.

Abilities naturally become more potent with rank.

ability examples: Flight, speed, elemental, defense, purge.

Note: an elemental ability (fire, lightning, etc.) gives an armor set the ability to resist that particular element and use spells using that particular element. (examples include Fire empress and Lightning empress armors where the armor resists damage and the weapon can use the said element.)

Note: Only S-rank or SS-rank armor may have these extremely powerful side effects and those must be either bought or earned via an event so only staff has to worry about the most powerful effects.

Upgrading Armor: Upgrading your armor doesn't cost EXP but rather Jewels. You must pay for any and all materials to acquire them. First off, how far can you upgrade equipment?

starter equipment:

Non-holder mages: Starter equipment for non-requip/non-holder mages can never exceed B-rank.

requip mages: Starter equipment for you guys can be increased to A-rank.

Bought equipment:

Non-holder mages: Can never upgrade bought equipment and must have the ability to carry the bought equipment.

Holder/requip mages: Can upgrade bought armor up to A-rank. Anything A-rank or higher can not be upgraded.

The cost of upgrading equipment:
D-rank - C-rank: 500 Jewels
C-rank - B-rank: 5,000 Jewels
B-rank - A-rank: 50,000 Jewels

regular abilities: 5,000 Jewels
elemental abilities: 10,000 Jewels (as they do two different things)

spells: Spells that require armor or a weapon may not exceed the rank of the weapon itself. If they do then using the spell will destroy the weapon due to the weapons incapability to handle all the power being released.

requirements: Sometimes equipment will have certain requirements that must be met before the armor can be used. That is, An extremely large or heavy armor will require a certain amount of strength before one can actually use it. Examples of equipment sets that will have requirements are Purgatory Armor(high strength), Adamintine Armor(high strength), and Armadura Fairy(member of fairy tail).

Making equipment: aside from starting equipment, you don't get to make any unless your character has the ability to make weapons or equipment via a blacksmithing augment or something similar. These will be heavily guarded and kept to a minimum. You may also not start with this augment so don't attempt to use it.

starting off: At the beginning non-holder mages can start with up to two pieces of equipment (both at D-rank). Holder mages may choose between the following:
- 2 D-rank pieces of equipment and 1 C-rank piece of equipment(with ability)
- 1 C-rank armor/weapon set(with ability) and 1 D-rank weapon.

The requip spell


Due to requip being a little confusing the spell to requip weapons and armor is premade and unchangable for customization regardless of what kind of requip your using (the gunner, the knight, custom). Also, due to it being difficult to summong weapons via rank in order to make requip fair it has been set as a stagnant spell with differing cooldowns based on rank.

What adding the spell only add the cooldowns for your rank. It can be edited out later.

Requirements: Requip magic
Effect: Based on what kind of requip magic the user has, this spell allows The user to requip any weapons available to him/her and in his/her equipment section(in your character app). Ones ability to use this spell consecutively is based on his/her rank and the rank of the weapons being swapped out. Cooldowns are seperated via weapon rank. The spell can't be used again for any weapon rank until the cooldown is met. Full sets do not require extra time to cooldown.
