INSIGHT: Rune Knights

Headquarters:

They are the men and women of chivalry. Everything they do is for the protection of the people and their king. Many of their duties include tracking down bandits, patrol the borders of their country, or even taking in a young orphan (if they so wish to join the knights). Their ideals revolve around a list called the Knight's Code of Chivalry.

To support their King and maintain his kingdom.
To serve the country in valor and faith.
To protect the weak and defenseless.
To fight for the welfare of all.
To give relief to widows and orphans.
To respect the honor of women.
To keep faith.
To live by honor and for glory.
To obey those placed in authority.
Never to refuse a challenge from an equal.
Never to turn the back upon a foe.
To persevere to the end in any challenge begun.
To guard the honor of fellow knights.
To refrain from the wanton giving of offence.
To despise any form of bribery reward.
To shun and avoid and abstain from unfairness, meanness, and deceit.
At all times to speak the truth.

There are two branches between the Rune Knights, however. On one side they are under the direct order of the King, usually residing in Crocus unless they are out on missions, while the other side works closely with the Magic Council.
