INSIGHT: Magic Council

Where there is chaos, there is order. Where there is evil, there is good.

The Magic Council of Fiore is the embodiment of both. Their way of operation is always done in an organized manner. Their hearts, their goals, and their feelings are always in the "light". They make the hard decisions of disbanding a guild or sending out forms for arrests. Everything they do from paperwork to executing a mage, the Magic Council have the people's best interest at heart.

There are three sections, each led by three of the Seven Heads of the Council with the exception of one division for one head. The departments are categorized into: the Research & Development, the Social & Political, and Documentary. The Research & Development team is managed by one head while the other two are supervised by three.

Research & Development are constantly experimenting and coming up with new magic, or trying to find out how magic works. They even go as far as taking in young orphans to teach them current or new magic, observing them as they grow and hoping to see any changes if different methods are used.

Social & Political deal with the citizens' concerns and with the King himself. They also try to maintain the hostilities and peace between guilds (light, dark, or neutral), leaders of certain towns and cities, as well as the dragons.

Documentary is where all information, from all sections, is brought to them for thorough inspection and storage. Every paperwork is meticulously handled and put away in its appropriate place in the library. Some are open for the public while others are placed in another building, sealed and only available to those who have the right permission.
