This is a fairly new site, being only about 2 and a half months old. Our setting takes place about 400 years into the past - x391 being the current year - and dragons freely roam Earthland. While humans and dragons are currently in peace with each other, there is darkness brewing and that fragile line of truce between them might just break soon enough.

Sokuseki [Blade Magic]
Name: Blade Magic
Type: Holder
Element/Aspect: Anything is viable, but very limited in degree and power.
Description: Sokuseki utilizes his throwing knives for this magic. He can manipulate the size, shape, and even mass of his knives to change them into different weapons to suit the situation. Usually this takes the form of swords or axes, but chakrams, spears, and needles are not out of the question either. He can also channel his magic into the blades themselves to give them enhanced effects, ranging from poison to ice, to stopping movement and even temporary blindness or fatigue.
Side Effects: It's a very versatile magic and requires physical action and immense skill to use. Excessive use of the magic can cause fatigue and exhaustion due to the strenuous exercise that's needed.
Blinding Blade
Tier: Base Spell
Sigils/Sigil Slots: 0/0
Magic Cost: 10 for 1-8 blades
Type: Offensive
Element: N/A
Range: 20 meters (See augment for precision)
Requirements: Instantaneous contact with the blade(s)
Effect: Upon impaling a target, the victim begins to feel dizzy and is then nearly blinded for 1 post. The victim will see quadruple after images of all of their surroundings, making it nearly impossible to see or maintain balance. The effect dissipates upon first impalement with any object.
