We welcome you to Delirium, where things are not what they seem and magic is just the beginning of your adventure.
This is a fairly new site, being only about 2 and a half months old. Our setting takes place about 400 years into the past - x391 being the current year - and dragons freely roam Earthland. While humans and dragons are currently in peace with each other, there is darkness brewing and that fragile line of truce between them might just break soon enough.
Episode One: Bastion, The Ironclad Dragon is now open!
Enjoy your stay, and please...
Stay delirious.

We're Booked [Mission]
Aleia looked down at the job offer. She had been passing through the area in her stroll to prolong her stay in this city and found them littering the area. Whoever put them up did so haphazardly and when she pulled the paper off, underneath was more ripped pages. It seemed whoever put them up was unwanted or plenty of people took up the offer. She highly doubted that there was many answers to the call as the ground underneath were littered with torn pieces of paper.
What caught her attention was the meager amount of money offered but the free ticket. It offered a free dessert in the shop for a day’s worth of work. Actually she might have skimmed over what the job entailed after she read the part about a free food. It didn’t help that it explicitly stated that the free food item was sweet, well should be sweet in nature. That didn’t matter, she had come all the way, got lost once or twice, so with all the work she put in, she might as well see it through. It was a good thing too, she seemed to have arrived just before opening time, although the details lacked on details of time.
“You’re here for the job huh?” a head poked out of the doorway. The woman’s deep yellow eyes that suddenly appeared startled her to say the least. It reminded her of a cat staring at her, wanting something. Maybe she should have bought a bottle of milk for an offering. All she could do was nod a reply. Before she knew what was going on or the procedures, a sudden tug of the arm caused her to keel forward into the doorway. She swore she was literally lifted off the floor and was taken through to another world.
The outside was less than well kept; there was definite wear and age on the wood paneling. The windows even appeared to be cracked…for whatever reasons, she could only guess. Regardless, the place did not scream host/hostess café except for the skewed sign haphazardly nailed above the door. She swore she heard it creek a little bit, even the quickly painted words of the Love Hearts appeared to be coming off.
Now the inside of the place was a different matter. It appeared to be a horrible clash of different sides. Some area were pink, others a deep red, blue, and so forth. Each of them was decorated differently as well. Perhaps it was to cater to the different preferences from person to person. Honestly she wasn’t sure which sections or areas she preferred. She has never been to a place like this and wondered what the atmosphere will was like. That was sometimes as important to help the food.
Before she could take a good long look of the layout, the woman had dragged her all the way to the back and flung open the doors to a new room. The place was already crowded by five other employees dressing up in full body animal suits, maid outfits, and so forth. Strangely there was little division between the male and female sides. They only looked at her for a second and all of them let out a sigh. Was that a sigh of pity she heard?
“You’ve got a pretty face, young man,” the woman complemented, leaning close enough that all she could really see is her eyes and bangs. She raised her hand with a finger raised and was about to state that she wasn’t a man. It was not meant to be however as once again, she was flung. She fell on her butt around what she presumed to be the male side of the room. The woman had already busily begun shuffling through the cloth line, gliding from one outfit to the next.
“That mask just won’t do though,” she said, pausing for a second to bend over and suddenly pry her mask off. She was of course stunned by what she saw but the astonishment soon turned to a smile. Now it was Aleia’s turn to be uncomfortable… This woman was definitely dangerous!
“A weak looking lead with a cute face or perhaps… ah I got it! You will be our prince for the day, perfect role! Now get dressed and if anyone asks your name, you are Prince. You are to be suave, gentle with the ladies, boss the other guys around and arrogant,” she suddenly exclaimed, throwing clothing straight onto her face. Aleia’s jaw went slack…
“The name is Sistine, come out when you are ready,” she stated, giving her a wink. Aleia was opening her mouth and closing it, struggling to make a syllable. When the door closed, all she could do was get dressed in this ridiculous outfit.

Re: We're Booked [Mission]
She stared hard at the bills in her pale hands. Her red eyes narrowed as if it was expecting something from the paper currency. Was it going to magically burn out of existence? Most likely not. Her magic did not revolve around the element of fire and she would never wish to have that type of magic. It was too destructive for her, though her other self might have a blast using such an ability. Nevertheless, fire was a no go, as was the thin wad of jewels in her left palm. Saya sighed and prepared to count them again. They let out a crinkling laugh every time her fingers flipped them over, tallying the amount in her head. It was a bit irritating once she found out the end result was still the same. Surely, they were mocking her.
Another long sigh escaped from her before she stuffed her cash into an inside pocket in her flowing red cloak. Lately her cash has been dwindling down at a rapid pace and it was worrying her. The taxes had suddenly risen and Saya was forced to used a bit of her savings to help her get by. Even the extra money she earned at Hime-Sama’s restaurant weren’t enough to cover the important bills. Then again Saya’s working hours for Hime-Sama are sporadic and her paycheck fluctuates in accordance to that so it wasn’t a stable income either. Either way Saya didn’t want to touch her savings and she was in desperate need of money, no matter how small the amount was.
As luck would have it Hime-Sama, after turning Saya away for today’s line of work (albeit guiltily), mentioned about some other food business needing a couple of hands and pointed her in the right direction. Despite having lived in Waterfall City since coming down from the chilly mountains, Saya found herself lost in the streets. She was standing in and along parts of the city that she did not frequent, and thus, not knowing where she was exactly. The little map that her friend had given her was of no help once the little streets began to cramp around each other as they neared the edge of the page. By then Saya deemed it to be too messy to read properly and headed out on her own. A big mistake on her part.
Saya ended up getting lost until she found a map directory of the area she was in (how convenient). It didn’t take long for Saya to determine the route to the restaurant and to walk there either. Not even three minutes later she found herself standing in front of the building, crumpled paper in her hand. It didn’t look like much really. Obvious signs of weather abuse had left parts of the walls worn and dull and even though the windows were still in tact there seemed to be hairline cracks. And the sign looked like it was barely holding on. Saya felt a bit skeptical now. Can this place really bring in some customers? Can they even pay her at the end of the job? She really didn’t know, but she was determined to finish the day with some cash for tonight’s dinner.
Without preamble Saya entered the restaurant and immediately met a pair of yellow eyes. She blinked and cleared her throat, ”Hello there Onee-Chan. I’m here for the job about being a hostess?” Her question was met with silence and an extremely intense stare that made her fidget under the gaze. ”Ano... Do I have something on my face? Or is there something wrong with me?” Her heart pounded as she waited for a response. She hoped the latter was not the case. Her demonic eyes and unusual hair always left her feeling inadequate and cut off from everyone else.
”Oh! No! Not at all. In fact...” The woman trailed off with a gleam in her eyes before licking her lips in a predatory way. Saya felt and saw the hunger coming off in waves from the woman’s frame. ”... You’re absolutely perfect! Here. Come with me. We have lots to do!” Without warning Saya was taken by her wrist and dragged to the back of the restaurant, where she saw a handsome man [Aleia] coming out of a dressing room before being flung into an empty stall.
”W-what? Hey, wai-” Her statement was cut-off as a dress was thrown at her face, followed by a pair of strap-on wings. Saya grumbled and decided to simply go with the flow. This is a job. You can do this. It’s okay. A job that’ll give you money. Minutes later Saya exited the stall with her arms trying to cover her bare legs. The outfit left her feeling naked. The woman, who Saya still didn’t know the name of, squealed in excitement. ”Yes! Just as I imagined. Your name shall be Seraphim! Now, here - stand next to Prince.”
Again, Saya was manhandled into standing next to the blonde man she got a glimpse of earlier.

Re: We're Booked [Mission]
Aleia felt the material in her hands. It was nice, the fabric was smooth and comfortable, the quality was better than anything she could dish out. Compared to her original clothing which was patched together haphazardly, this outfit was what the rich people would have wore when passing through the town. You really should tell her that you're a girl. Her brother's voice rang out with a mixture of laughter in them. Of course she knew what he meant but she so desperately wanted to try it on as well.
She quickly peeled off her clown like outfit and dressed up. The clothing felt strangely fitting to her frame. Even as she put on the little details and accessories she did not feel held back or uncomfortable. A smile began to spread across her face as she began to feel more at ease. Maybe this job wouldn't be as bad as Sistine had seemed. This was definitely going to be somewhat interesting, maybe the day will end even before she realized it. That idea was soon ruined as another woman burst forth from the entrance just as she had left the changing room. Was this another sucker to the job? For some reason she doubted they might have had the same intention with the free snack ticket.
Okay I take it back, be a man and suck it up. Her brother seemed to strangely do a 180 on the take as the other girl was placed next to her. Aleia's eyes scanned her from head to toe, finding that her outfit seemed a little cumbersome. She was not the type to wear any long robe or skirt like outfits. She felt as though they were too easy to grab and tear at by other people. Her slightly baggy white pants suited her nicely in that regard.
"Great, now show me what you got Prince!" Sistine practically squealed out the command. For a second she was confused before she realized what the woman meant. So she wanted her to appear like this "Prince" as she had instructed. Well she had... No she had read plenty of romance novels and knew exactly what she needed to do.
"Well, look it here, my darling angel has arrived," she smiled, a gentle face appeared and she opened up her arms for the girl to walk in. From there, she reached out around her right arm to gently cross it around the girl's waist as her left hand steadily tipped the girl's chin to stare into her face.
"I have been waiting so long," she flirted her voice taking on a strangely dramatic tone as they faced one another up close. Just a little more and they would have kissed.
"That... is...amazing..." Sistine said, wide eyed, a tiny spurt of blood came from her nose.

Re: We're Booked [Mission]
Time seemed to freeze as Saya stood next to “Prince.” She was all too aware of her outfit to be noticing the happenings of her surroundings. The dress was smooth silk that caressed her skin softly, and it flowed around her legs like the rippling waterfalls of her favorite place in the city. Even the wings, which were actually pretty light and almost non-existent with its light weight, seemed to feel hefty on her petite shoulders. Saya made it a point to remember that she had the contraption on when work starts. It wouldn’t do her or the customers any good if her wings constantly knocked things down every time she had to turn in tight spaces. She shook her head, causing her artificial wings to shift a bit with her movement, when she returned to reality to face the woman ordering (from what she guessed to be her partner) Prince to do something.
Saya only had a second to be confused before she was mesmerized by Prince’s voice. A distinct blush colored her pale cheeks, making her look even more innocent in her angel outfit. She glanced at the open arm and hesitantly walked into it; heart thumping against her ribcage at an increasingly insane rate. Oh, and when Prince spoke Saya was sure that her breath caught in her throat. Then his hand on her waist made her knees weak, and in an effort to keep herself from falling and making a fool out of herself Saya gently clutched at his chest clothing and leaning in a bit so that he supported her.
”Prince...” Saya whispered as she looked into his eyes. ”I’m sorry for making you wait.” She actually had no idea why she was responding but couldn’t help it. Everything felt so weird but natural enough for her to go with it. That is, until she heard her employer comment on them. Letting out a small squeak of surprise Saya straightened her posture and gently tried to step out of Prince’s hold (although a bit reluctantly). She cleared her throat and asked, ”Ahem. So... When are we going to start our shifts?”

Re: We're Booked [Mission]
OOC: I'll let you make the first customer ^^
Aleia hoped that she sounded as cool as she made herself out to be. This was her first time actively acting like a man would although she seems to naturally act like a boy most of her life. At least she was confident in her voice to not sound feminine at least, it was a shame her vocals always had the depth of a young man. For once she was glad for it, especially since she was to be the new ‘Prince’ for this shop. She hoped the dessert was worth it.
What she didn’t expect was the reaction from the angel. Her feminine side was dearly offended by the mistake albeit she never paid much attention to it from the beginning. If anything she just pushed her little pink spot back to the very dark corners of her mind. Now her ego might have inflated just a tiny bit for dragging out such an earnest response from the girl.
I don’t like it; I don’t like this ‘Prince’ person at all, just don’t get too into this Aleia. Her brother’s protest fell on deaf ears or rather mind for that matter. If her brother dislikes it then that means she will love getting even more involved in the role. She was about to try something else before the Seraphim detached herself from the Prince. Aleia gave an honest expression of disappointment thinking that she might have done something wrong with her role. However that expression soon let out an upbeat sigh and a shrug. She made it seem like this was a usual thing and the angel was just being shy with others around them.
“Since you guys are so deep in character the shift starts now,” Sistine clapped her hands together, clearly enjoying the new workers and pawns to her little self-indulgent host club. She looked from Seraphim than to the Prince as if looking for any last touchups. When she was satisfied by what she saw, the owner scooted out and flipped over the sign to open. It was just going to be a matter of minutes before people started coming into the shop.
“Before you completely start work, I have to make sure you guys understand the agenda. You are the dreamboat, the girl or guy that these people may never get. Don’t be yourselves be your personas that I have assigned you,” she winked at the two of them. This woman was serious about her line of work and these young whippersnappers were going to learn some new things about people.
“I have a peculiar rule, we do not eat outside of her our food breaks except when the customers offer you a bite,” she grinned as those words exited her mouth. She almost seemed to lick her lips a little out of joy.
“The main thing is to get the food and make sure the customers enjoy it, show them some love, attention and entertainment,” she pressured on before a swing at the door caught her attention.
