We welcome you to Delirium, where things are not what they seem and magic is just the beginning of your adventure.
This is a fairly new site, being only about 2 and a half months old. Our setting takes place about 400 years into the past - x391 being the current year - and dragons freely roam Earthland. While humans and dragons are currently in peace with each other, there is darkness brewing and that fragile line of truce between them might just break soon enough.
Episode One: Bastion, The Ironclad Dragon is now open!
Enjoy your stay, and please...
Stay delirious.

Nothing new in Moriyama
A nice day in the village of Moriyama as the sun was shining as an gigantical golden lightbowl in the high blue sky and the clouds were like enourmous pillows made out of white sugar and it was all a beautiful view as it was a light breeze and you could hear the summer birds sing in the trees in one fo the parks of Moriyama and it was really one of those days that you could just sit down on a park bench and fall asleep to the quietness and the calming atmosphere.
However this was for the normal persons that either had finished working or did not have any work or studying to do but for the dark stranger that had entered the village a couple of hours earlier was not like the rest of the population as he was quite dark and gloomy and wore black clothes with black gloves on his hands and a black and silver cane with a snake formed handle.
Darion had arrived to Moriyama a few hours earlier beacuse many years when he was but a mere child his family had visited this place, his father had to deal with some "business" so it was up to Darion and his nanny too enjoy the day. They went in shops all day, had a great lunch, watched a magic show and things like that and it was one of the few days in his life where Darion had laughed, not from power or greed, not from the pleasure of beating someone. But the sheer laugh of a child having fun...
He sat down on a bench under a big tree and let out a sigh, after all he had now gained a feeling, a feeling of calmness which was pretty rare for him to get. Especially during normal days.
Darion sighed once again and rose up from the bench and started walking as the sound of birds became to noisy and so he decided to take a walk to the center of the village to try to find the restaurant that he had gone too all those years ago.
Then when he finally reached the center square there were people everywhere and Darion thought to himself "This place has not changed I see..." as he found himself standing outside the restaurant with the same sign and all. Darion looked at it and ventured in to have something too eat and drink.
After a few minutes he got his table, he ordered everything and the waiter bowed an walked off in such a hurry. When the waiter came back with the wine he had ordered he asked for that days newspaper and as he had pretty much guessed there was nothing interesting in the news at all, just a lot of gibberish and bollocks about weather and enviromental things. "Nothing interesting as usuall... why bother making these if noone likes them...Darion thought to himself and continued reading his paper and waited for something or something interesting to appear.

Re: Nothing new in Moriyama
It was always the same in everyplace she went to, with the exception of Blackwood Forest and the guild she was in. It never failed when she was in a new place or walking by folks on the road. Every single person she met away from home would stop and stare at her. It didn't bother her at all and she enjoyed very much being the center of attention. Her Ice cold blue eyes, long black untamed hair, stone grey skin, and sunset horns well one could already tell that Opium Serket was more than human.. The real question was though, just what was she?
Slowly walking through the town, Opium could feel herself growing weaker with each step. When she had made it into the town the other night she promised herself a grade A map of the place. Today was going to be just one of those mapping days, but not without something to eat first. The sun's rays danced wildly among the trees as she walked under them. Strands of light that broke through the leaves highlighted her dark locks bringing out it's blue undertones. She didn't know the town that well but she knew people and it only took the right words to get her where she wanted to go.
Strolling carelessly along with her black coat open, the weather was quite nice In Moriyama. It was warm with a bit of breeze that was just right and a humble sort of music filled the air, the song of nature. Rustling leaves, chirping birds, the everyday hustle and bustle of people moving around. It was.. Peaceful a word that almost made Opium's face change in a unsettling way.
"Excuse me miss? Might you be able to direct me to a place where one could enjoy a decent meal? "
A flock of pretty ladies walked past or tried to walk past Opium in a very hurried manner. She was not the least bit surprised but that didn't stop her from directing her attention to one of them. It seemed in this group that there was one more curious and less afraid than the rest. A young lady who looked to be around seventeen or eighteen with wild curly red hair that fell to her back, and striking green eyes seem to walk slower than the rest if the group. Opium could have actually sworn that the stares she was receiving from the young lady was not the one she got most of the time. A playfull smirk came to her face and she directed her attention to that girl, speaking to her and letting it be known it was her she was speaking to.
" Oh yes there is a very nice little place to eat not that far from where we stand actually. "
As the girl spoke the directions to Opium it was clear that this young lady was not afraid of Opium. In fact it looked like she was taking a liking to her. Now this could have went many ways but Opium was just not in it to return the gesture. Quickly nodding her head and thanking the girl she was off to the place where she could eat. But before she could get to far a voice called out.
" Wait! Please!"
Turning around Opium's eyes lowered just slightly as she saw the redhead running up to her. She seemed eager about something and now Opium was interested to see what this young lady actually wanted.
" U-Um may I.. I know we don't know each other.. But may I touch your horns?"
The request itself was quite odd and Opium was a bit reluctant to fulfill it. Something like a blush washed over her face for a moment but quickly faded. A small chuckle escaped from her lips and she was almost tempted to say no.
" Well. My horns are very.. Sensitive so be quick about it.. No longer than a few seconds. "
Lowering her head so that the girl may reach, she but her lip upon the girl's soft hands running up and down the length of each horn. It had to be the longest four seconds of her life and now she was very bothered. Quickly dismissing the girl Opium quickly walked into the next building she saw, which happen to have been the one the girl spoke of. Quickly seating herself she looked over the menu, never realizing the blush that had taking place over her cheeks and nose. The menu was nice and she ordered as quickly as possible. Pulling out large blank papers, a bottle of ink. And a feathered pen. Her hands moved gracefully as she began to draw out the area from memory, hoping to calm Dow. Before the food came.

Re: Nothing new in Moriyama
Whispers followed his graceful form like the threads of fate clinging to its every mark. He ignored them, however, as he practically floated through the streets and crowds of Moriyama. The murmurs of the citizens were nothing new to him. He was The Holy One after all. His entire being and frame, physical appearance and aura, emitted it. Shining silver-white hair that reflected the sun's rays caused those curious about him to wonder if they imagined a halo hovering over his crown. His pale skin, which can be compared to porcelain, didn't help in the slightest as the rumors grew.
Peter, ever conscious of his actions and outward appearance, occasionally waved and smiled at the people who managed to make eye contact with him. He didn't like taking notice of those lower than him, but it would hurt his image if he happened to be rude. So he kept it up until he came upon his destination - a restaurant known for high quality food. He just hoped that it wasn't that expensive and made a huge dent in his funds. Taking the building's theme and presentation, Peter prepared himself for such a situation. His magic required him to eat more than the normal, fit person or else it would end up going wild. And that did not do well for him. He was perfect. Is.
With not much of an effort, he pushed the doors open and stepped inside. The hums muffled to a stop just as the glass came to a close behind him. Peter scanned the restaurant for an open seat, one preferably in the shadows and a corner that covered his back. Back in the castle, where he had watched and listened to Rune Knights talk about defensive tactics, Peter learned that it was best to settle in an area where he could see everyone but they would barely notice him, and to make sure his blindsides were covered. He had taken it to heart and made sure to do so in at all times when possible.
There were plenty of empty tables around but they did not fit his criteria. Whether it was by pure coincidence or so-called fate, Peter's silver orbs spotted a familiar man sitting at a table reading the newspaper. His back was towards Peter, who was silently making his way over to him. Defensive tips were pushed to the side. But before he made his destination Peter slowed his pace to a manageable degree, though unnoticeable, to correct a young lady with horns. "4th street runs parallel to 8th and intersects Arbor Rd. just before Alcatraz Blvd., not the 2nd.," he softly corrected her in passing. Why she was creating a map of the town was beyond him, but he supposed that some people needed to do it either to hone their directional skills or for fun. He didn't know and didn't care to theorize on those subjects.
At the current moment Peter wanted to satiate his hunger and have a decent conversation with a man he met not too long ago. "Don't you know that newspapers only bring out the crisis in the world?" Peter asked in monotone, just behind and a little to the side of Darion. Clearly he did not think much of the media. Without as much as a greeting he went and sat in the vacant seat just across from the only other occupant of the small table.

Re: Nothing new in Moriyama
Darion read his newspaper and looked up when a strange girl with horns on her head, this was much peculiar and Darion could not stop staring as she was in one way rather beatiful and cute, he shook his head as he started to read again.
He looked up and saw that she was drawing something and so he continued reading but after a very short while he heard a voice behind him "Don't you know that newspapers only bring out the crisis in the world?".
Darion changed page and said in a cold voice "Knowledge is power my friend. Knowledge is gained by reading..." he turned and saw that the man had gone to a vacant seat abit closer to the women, Darion rolled the newspaper and walked over to Peter " You should try it Mr.Endless, it can be rather satisfying sometimes..." and sat down infront of him.
The waiter saw that Darion had changed seats so he walked up with the food and drink and said " Your meal My Lord. I hope it is to your liking." the waiter gave a small bow and walked away in a hurry, Darion just chuckled and said " Have you ordered anything yet mr.Endless?" and waited for Peter to get his food (since his upbringing had learned him).
Darion turned around and saw that the women still sat alone so he snapped his fingers and when the waiter was by him Darion made a sign to him to lean closer and then whispered something. The waiter bowed and walked away to the women behind Darion and so he said to Peter " My upbringning does not concur with me allowing a young woman sitting alone in an restaurant. I do hope you do not mind mr.Endless" and looked at at Peter with his crimson eyes.

Re: Nothing new in Moriyama
Peter gave Darion a cold smile. "While I do agree with that notion, knowledge is also gained by other resources. Particularly, the source of material used to create books, newspaper articles, and the like. I prefer those over reading, not if I can't help but be part of that knowledge." Despite having told Darion that newspapers were not that reliable, Peter would have done the same and read it anyways. He was always in the hunt for new books and the latest issues of several magazines and newspapers. Knowing what was true and false, and trying to deciphers things that could not be seen had become a bit of pleasurable addiction. It helped him keep his mind sharp as well as exercise his talent for cross-referencing several sources within seconds.
With a grace that has blessed him since his early years Peter picked up a glass of red wine, half a minute after it was set down in front of him. He did not even give the servant an inkling of notice. He was beneath his notice, just like the others in the restaurant. Don't get Peter wrong, though. While he is loathe to forcibly tolerate their presence, he highly appreciates their work. Those who have the determination to do well and perform well are always the useful tools in the box. They are valuable.
"Not yet, however..." Peter paused to take a sip of the wine before finally giving the waiter his attention. "Everything on the menu. All pasta dishes are to be doubled, except for the ones that have any type of seafood in them. Those are not to be ordered." He politely yet rudely handed the now closed menu to the poor worker serving them. Peter kept his face impassive as he caught the man send him a hard stare. The waiter was quite impressive as he nodded and then bowed out to put in his order. A delicate eyebrow was raised as he watched the man disappear behind closed doors. "He kept his face blank. Quite the control he has." Peter then commented, not at all concerned if Darion thought him to be a bit loony in the head for the random statement. Though if Darion had followed his line of thought then Peter would probably nod in appreciation.
Darion's next topic of conversation did not phase Peter as he was informed of having invited a lady over to dine with them. He watched the worker head over to the woman he had just corrected minutes earlier. "Not at all Mr. Steinheil. I would have done the same." He then nodded as if in approval.
